When this design may be considered
It may be discussed for a full-arch fixed restoration after implant positions, soft tissues, lip support, bite forces and cleaning space have been assessed. Not every implant arrangement or available vertical space can accommodate the same design.
Digital and prosthetic planning
Records may include photographs, scans, bite registrations and a trial design. The team evaluates the framework, tooth proportions, speech, bite and access for hygiene before the final restoration is made. A temporary restoration may be used during healing and testing.
Risks and alternatives
Possible complications include ceramic chipping or fracture, screw or component loosening, wear of opposing teeth, changes in speech or comfort and difficulty cleaning. Alternatives include other zirconia designs, metal-acrylic or metal-composite restorations, or removable implant-supported prostheses.
Maintenance requirements
The prosthesis and implant tissues require regular professional review. Cleaning aids are selected for the space beneath the restoration. Screws, components, bite contacts and ceramic surfaces may require adjustment, repair or replacement during long-term use.
